We Live in A World...

"We Live in a World that is Built to Judge Us By Our Greatest Achievements and Condemn Us for Our Worst Failures, You Wrestle with the Question, Was it Worth It? Out Here, Neither Success or Failure can be Taken Back to the World. We are Stuck Here in Our Minds At Devil's Bay"

As the weeks count down...

When people go through the motion everyday, it just makes life not interesting an exciting.
Similarly, when i decided to take the Diploma in Outdoor & Adventure Learning, I decided this is how my life would be.

Full of Risk
Full of Reward
Full of Adventure
Full of Inspiration

Without these, how do you measure how you lead a fulfilling life???

When we take a look how so many different athletes in the world do what they do, they just inspires me to find that place in my heart that just shouts "THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE DOING, EVERYDAY"

Being a gear junkie, I personally visit most outdoor brand's FB page. But what really set it apart was the deep thought that was in Steph Davis's Mind when she attempted this big project and shared about her life story.

Its 20 mins, but it was the first 10 that got me to the next 10 mins.

Back to reality vs personal goals.

Living in such a "corrupt" country where certain decisions in life have already been decided for you, it sucks.
Hearing friends after friends talk about their choices and life path for the next 10 years really sickens me.
With 2 years of NS for guys, locals fighting for places in local Universities and the insane amount of money required just for a young adult to survive in SG. Plus, when the traditional mindset of family hits you hard, it just makes it all the more confusing.

Classic SG route: Finish Poly/JC - NS - UNI/WORK - WORK - GF - MARRIED - HDB Flat/Car - WORK - WORK - WORK till you get your pension fee - RETIRE.

There is no point in life if thats the case. I mean where's the meaning of living your life to the fullest? Live UnBound. Restrictions here there everywhere in the country.

Choosing to live life the fullest and achieving what you want is ALL that matters!!!!
Living each day like its your last makes it all worthwhile to achieve something everyday makes you feel so much better. For me yesterday, I went to church, went to support her and all, make sure everything is alright, planned out plans and accompanied her grocery shopping & home. But this one instance when I helped an old expat at the train station to the right directional train to his destination and talked to him. He was grateful to this small favor I did for him and his 'thank you' made my day all the more fulfilling.

I ain't no preacher, motivational speaker, life/success coach, role model, inspiration to anyone.
I'm just trying to make sense to everyone.

"It's about Survival of the Fittest". Yes, in the business world.
Outrageously NO to me to LIFE.

Living It Fulfilling Everyday!

The Happy Man taught me that yesterday & 67 year old grandmother inspired to discover life as she is still discovering hers.

To end, Your purpose in life is not to please others. Please Yourself By Living it to the Fullest. Don't Let Yourself Down. Don't care about others yet.

This lady just taught me about hanging on to things that hold dear to us.

Note to Her:
Whether its possible between us, its up to us. But what sets everything apart is our willingness to live Unbound by the things that holds us down.
Like what my teachers always say " Leaders don't give problems, Leaders give Solutions "

Time to prove the world wrong about living your dreams*!
** except for the dream for all guys to be an astronaut:)

Till Next Week, May your Week Start & End with an Adventure of Your Own.

Note To Self:

“Some of the biggest challenges in relationships come from the fact that most people enter a relationship in order to get something: they're trying to find someone who's going to make them feel good. In reality, the only way a relationship will last is if you see your relationship as a place that you go to give, and not a place that you go to take.”

- Anthony Robbins

I think this serves as a reminder to myself and not to be selfish when it comes to such situations. Knowing that only the strong will survive and build on his own pillars of character & beliefs.

Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men.
Till the next challenge arises,

Reflection Cycling..

Yes, Weird Activity, but it works for me.

I personally am the kind that self reflect through many different experiences. Maybe a few triggers here and then to kick start but I usually end it positive. For eg:

1) O Levels: Can't study at home, Cycled Max Speed to the top of Tampines Mountain Bike Trail. Threw the bike aside and just let the environment sink in. An hour or so, my mind would be refreshed to take on more studying. Result: L1R4= 14pts

2) During Polytechnic: Questioned the big One up in the sky deciding my life a lot. Led to alot of confusion, wrong mistakes, wrong decisions. Cycled to Pasir Ris Park at Max Speed. Relaxed at a quiet BBQ pit and think it through. Pray also. Result: Ended poly with more joy then regret.

3) NOW: Questioned about NS, Questioned about someone in particular, Questioned even about my kids in school vs my own pleasure. Cycled to Pasir Ris Park & Remote location in Changi.
Result: Nothing! NOTHING! NOTHING!!!!

All I ask for is for Him to say something or show something. I know that I really want to pursue but I sometimes make sense to myself and sometimes don't. Things were so fine till today. Tmrw's work day would be kind of awkward I guess. I hoping not and I can still ask her out.

I can be the guy that thinks so much that I make sense to myself to not do things, but at the same time, I know that is what I want. Even friends say its possible but its not I guess. I should have just stuck to church.

" Everyone has their on Everest, We all want to conquer it. "
But there is a time for it.
Sometimes,

Either the mountain has warned me or her mountains (friends) have done the same for her.

Or have I scaled the wrong mountain....

To end off,
I thought I was smart enough to know so many things but in the end, I am defeated by myself. How smart could I have gotten.

My eye candy- Katie Leung- Cho Chang

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOWWWWWWWW!!!!!

I just dreamt that I was sitting beside Katie Leung at a very big musical!!!
And we talked and laughed!! Because it was so packed, she managed to get a seat. But she wanted to get a better view. But as she moved, it was right beside me!

I was like the cool dude trying not to be over surprised by her presence beside me. But when all is going so well, her good friend came and there were no seats for her.
How I wish I can meet her in person and get to know her as a friend and not a crazy fan. In anycase, it was an awesome dream I had until I woke up. And it was like damn! why did I have to wake up !?!?!?!?! Looking forward to her next movie!!

Till Next Time,

Reminder..

Looking at rock climbing and body building videos really just reminds me who I had set out to be when I was 17. But now, I really am finding it hard to get back on track with my current status. It's time to cut down on my eating and increase on home workouts.

Going for a lite run even with the shin splint not fully recovered. I am that desperate.

Till this evening, booya!

Back Alive & Kickin'!!!

Trying to get back to an online journal personally..
The past few months and the upcoming few are not the best and may be the worse I have ever been.
With the current shin splint not yet recovered, the increase in medical expenses for physiotherapy, the inability to do cardio and high intensity activities like BASKETBALL! to keep fit, it has resulted in very bad health.

From High Blood Pressure to Shin Splint to Obesity,
This is something that I did not expect of myself and am very disappointed. As a person with very high self esteem, being at such a low at this age is not what I had expected. Physical confidence has been poor with the lack of sizable clothes. With my social lifestyle, I really need to

lose weight and get fit in the next 3 months. I feel not confident enough to meet people, especially people whom I have known for quite some time.

People going to OBS slim down, I was the reverse. Disappointment in myself has hit an all time high. Dear God, if you hear me, please help me in any way you can or have already planned? I can't fit all my pants anymore and am struggling when I am in them. The only thing when others see me is to say I have put on weight. I am just going to end it here.

Dear God, Please help me.
No booya for now...
